Mounting System's New Managing Director

Rangsdorf, July 19th 2016. With immediate effect, Michael Sehner has been appointed Managing Director of Mounting Systems GmbH. Sehner succeeded Stefan Spork at the start of the new financial year on July 1 2016.

Michael Sehner comes from the NWI Group, which is a majority shareholder in Mounting Systems GmbH, to the company based in Rangsdorf near Berlin. On behalf of the NWI Group, he was responsible in 2015 for the acquisition of HatiCon by Mounting Systems as part of a new strategic direction developed and implemented by Sehner. Previously, Michael Sehner was working for the NWI Group as general manager in various associated companies, with the focus of his activities being on realignment and commercial strategy. At his own request, Stefan Spork is taking on new assignments outside the company.

"Under the management of Stefan Spork, Mounting Systems has maintained its position in an extremely challenging market environment. On behalf of the NWI Group and the employees, I would like to thank Mr Spork for the accomplished and profitable manner in which he has managed the company. I look forward to further expanding this success together with the employees at all our locations", said Michael Sehner on the occasion of the change of management.

The NWI Group has extensive experience in the areas of industrial production and marketing, and since 2014 has been investing in the strengthening of R&D and manufacturing at Mounting Systems. This enabled the company to further strengthen its position as a leading international manufacturer of solar racking systems. During the previous two years, Mounting Systems has recorded a sales increase of 50% and has achieved a sustainable and profitable business perspective. The key elements for the continuation of this growth path include the introduction of innovative and customeroriented product and service ranges.

Accordingly, with Mounting Systems Projects, the solar specialist is bundling its expertise in the development and maintenance of large-scale solar facilities. With the new company division, the company is supporting, with immediate effect, energy providers of large-scale rooftop and ground-mounted units with not only installation but also design, and ultimately as a full-service provider over the entire operating duration of the solar park. With the Mounting System’s Standard division, the company is catering for commercial and installation partners that plan and operate individual units.
